Therapeutic Laser

Pioneer is excited to offer high-powered, Class IV laser therapy. Laser therapy, or photobiomodulation, is a safe, highly-effective, non-invasive modality that restores normal biologic function and can improve the speed and quality of repair for injured tissue as well as help more effectively mange many chronic conditions. Laser therapy uses specific wavelengths of light that interact within cells and produce a direct photochemical response similar to photosynthesis which enhances cellular metabolism. It is safe enough to be used on dermatologic conditions such as corneal ulcers and uveitis. But it is also powerful enough to deliver photonic energy deep into acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions including joint, tendon, and ligament injuries. The laser may also be used on acupuncture sites for “needle-shy” horses. Laser therapy will allow your horse to recover more quickly, to return to their normal activity level, and/or regain their competitive edge.
