Elizabeth grew up in Valley Springs, CA. Growing up with multiple animals, her true passion was always horses. She moved to Modesto to go to Modesto Junior College where she received her Veterinary Technician Certificate and Equine Science degree. She enjoys competing in Dressage and Hunter Jumpers. Elizabeth joined Pioneer in July 2018 as our pharmacy technician.

After spending 12 years working in a local mixed animal practice, Sara joined Pioneer in May of 2014 as our pharmacy technician and coordinator of shipping and receiving. She is currently our Operations Manager and busy with the day to day proceedings at our hospital. With two kids and a husband who enjoy riding and rodeo, she occasionally gets a chance to ride her own horse. She also greatly enjoys the culinary arts and vinology.

Amy grew up in Tracy, CA. She loves interacting with clients and is an enthusiastic team player in the front office at Pioneer. She used to be afraid of horses until five years ago she picked up the reins and conquered her fears. Now in the spring and summer, she competes in Combined Driving and pleasure drives her two horses: Quadir, an Oldenburg and Rhino, her Percheron. In her time off, she spends her time with her family and enjoys taking on a good challenge.

Lindsey grew up in Manteca, Ca but recently moved out to Oakdale, Ca and absolutely loves it here! She’s loved animals every since she was a little girl and always knew she wanted to work with them in some context when she got older! Lindsey grew up having bunnies, dogs, cats, & chinchillas. She has a rescue husky mix now, that is her everything! In her free time, she likes hang out with friends, relax at home with her husband and dog, or spend some quality time with her family! Lindsey is ecstatic to be a part of the Pioneer Equine Hospital team and make a difference in horses and their owners lives!

Jennifer was born and raised in Clayton, CA on a small ranch. Growing up she had a multitude of animals, including horses, and from an early age knew she wanted to work in animal medicine. Jennifer pursued her dream and graduated from Carrington College in February 2016 with an Associate’s Degree in Veterinary Technology. In April of 2016, Jennifer joined the Pioneer team and has loved it since. Jennifer received her Registered Veterinary Technician’s license in 2017. When not at work, you can find Jennifer with her horses Black Betty and Sarah, home with her cat Reese’s Peaches or out with friends and boyfriend Tyler.
