"We hauled in from Oregon for an MRI. Everybody from the receptionists, technicians to the vets....were absolutely wonderful! Very professional but super friendly! Thank you!"

"My horse was bit by a rattlesnake this past April. My old vet was more concerned with payment up front which ended up being a blessing. I took my horse to Pioneer Equine Hospital and Dr Kate treated him. Rio was in their hospital for 4 days and I couldn't ask for better care for him. Dr Kate and the staff at Pioneer Equine Hospital truly care for the horses. Rio went back for his follow up and got a clean bill of health from the bite. Pioneer Equine Hospital is the only place my horse will be going for his health needs and farrier service. Thank you for saving my boy. "

This is the best vet hospital I have ever taken my horses to. I have been there for dental, shots, and lameness. Right now my mare is in their ICU for colic. I didn't think she was going to make it but after one day with them she has pulled through and will be coming home tomorrow.

"Not only has Pioneer been wonderful for vaccinations and teeth floats, they have also been so helpful to us for more than one emergency visit. One ended up being nothing, one required stitches, and one resulted in a 5 day hospital stay. We don't have high dollar performance horses, but they always treated us and our ponies as if they were. Prices were reasonable, the vets knowledgeable, and the techs very patient and kind. Their annual client appreciation events are fun and informative too!"

PEH Appointment Policy Amid Coronavirus Pandemic:
Dear Valued PEH Clients,
The health and well-being of your horse is our top priority. As news of the coronavirus (COVID-19) in our community continues to develop, we are monitoring the situation closely. Like you, we are deeply concerned by the impact this is having on our country and the rest of the world. We are also very aware of our responsibility to provide exceptional care to your animals and you during this difficult time.
As you all know, the COVID-19 landscape changes rapidly. At this time, our clinic and ambulatory resources remain open and are operating under regular business hours. However, in order to ensure your safety and the safety of our staff, and under the guidance of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the American Association of Equine Practitioners and local and federal governments (CDC), we will be modifying our appointment structure as follows:
Thank you for your patience and cooperation. We understand this may be challenging and even frustrating for many of you, but we also know that you understand the need for us to do what we can to protect one another. We realize these restrictions will make our interactions seem much less personal, which will be difficult for all of us, but, as with all things, this too shall pass! If you have additional questions, please feel free to contact us (209-847-5951), and we will keep you updated as we learn any additional information that may impact you, your horses or Pioneer. We look forward to seeing your horse soon.
-Your Pioneer Team
